WWE Crown Jewel 2021 takes place this Thursday, October 21st.
It is the third Crown Jewel event to hail from Saudi Arabia. 2018 saw the return of Shawn Michaels as he teamed up with Triple H to defeat Undertaker and Kane. 2019 saw The Fiend defeat Seth Rollins to win the WWE Universal Championship.
I have an article on every Saudi Arabia Betting Upset but it’s really a short list.
Here’s a look at the betting odds and I list the best odds from a combination of all the sportsbooks:
October 21st updates: 6 hours before the show has started: Hurt Business vs The Usos added. Seth now +425. Lashley +400. Xavier +108. Mustafa Ali +900. Zelina Vega now -106 but Doudrop still favourite at -134. AJ Styles & Omos +550. Sasha moved out to +650 with Bianca +140 and Becky -167.
Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar: When the odds first came out, Roman was just -139 and I recommended a bet on him. Hopefully, you did so. Anyway, with these new odds, I would advise a 1/4u bet on Brock Lesnar. The value is there. Meltzer has been reporting this isn’t one and done and that they are doing a series of matches.
The issue of course is Brock has limited dates and they may not wish to use him at Survivor Series. I still think Roman wins but we have thought that before when he takes on Brock. An easy value bet.
Doudrop vs Zelina Vega: I said on the podcast yesterday to bet Zelina Vega at +250 odds. I hope you did. At +110 odds? I’d probably still risk 1/4u. But that’s a good reason to subscribe to the podcast!
Finn Balor vs Xavier Woods: With Xavier pushing for it so strongly, I really hope he is the one that wins King of the Ring. However, after watching Smackdown and seeing him use the “THE PRINCE IS NOW THE KING” soundbite so many times – I gotta go with 1/4u on Finn Balor. I hope I’m wrong though.
RK-Bro vs AJ Styles & Omos: It wouldn’t surprise me to see a tag title change but I don’t feel confident enough to back it.
Big E vs Drew McIntyre: I mean Drew is heading to Smackdown and Big E just won the title. WWE has done dumber things but I can’t see them taking the title off Big E.
Goldberg vs Bobby Lashley: I was discussing this one with a friend earlier. I said to him “Do you think there is any chance Bobby Lashley wins?”. He said:
“In a properly booked company – not an f-ing chance. In WWE – yeah.”
Made me laugh. Have to expect Goldberg goes over here in Saudi Arabia. But man who knows with his history of matches and messing up maybe he busts something and they call an audible. Or maybe they decide to keep Lashley strong. I’m throwing my money away here but 1/4u on Bobby Lashley.
Edge vs Seth Rollins: Gotta think Edge gets his retribution here. Would be silly if he doesn’t. No bet.
Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks: Big odds changes in this one after RAW with Bianca now favourite at the Kambi books at -112. I’ve gone back and forth on this one. Initially, I thought Sasha would win to keep the Smackdown title on Smackdown but I don’t know if that’s the case. At +134 odds at BetOnline, Becky is now bettable for me for 1/4u.
