AEW Full Gear 2021 takes place this Saturday, November 13th.
AEW has never been bigger and this is looking like their biggest and potentially best show yet. The long storyline involving Hangman Page finally winning the world title may come to a close, and we’ve got a late feud of the year contender with Eddie Kingston vs CM Punk.
One thing to note is that there are rarely any big betting upsets in AEW simply because they do booking that makes sense. There have certainly been a few upsets in the past though, and this card has the potential for a few upsets.
Best betting odds offered from both non-US Sportsbook (Americans: Bet at BetOnline) and BetOnline.
First of all I hope you all listened to my podcast or followed my odds postings as you would know to have bet the Superkliq when they were -106 odds. At that price they are unbettable.
Right off the bat, I have a conundrum involving Eddie Kingston and Miro. I believe both of these wrestlers have a strong chance of winning. Miro would be a good first heel contender for Hangman Page. I always felt Mox was going to be Page’s first feud and Miro would fit in there well as well.
On the other hand CM Punk has to lose some time and with that incredible promo battle last week on Rampage – it really feels like this would be an amazing time, and Eddie is the perfect one to do it.
I could just be dreaming on this one but I believe if Eddie Kingston wins, it will truly make him and I don’t think Punk would be hurt by it at all.
I’m concerned – betting-wise – that AEW won’t want to go the stop-gap route for Miro though. He just lost a big feud and not sure him coming back and then losing to Hangman is the best for him.
You could blindly bet BOTH Eddie Kingston and Miro to win and if one wins, you come out ahead. But I am going to go with 1/4u on Eddie Kingston to win at +400 odds. I think Danielson vs Page sounds a lot better feud-wise. I love Miro, but Miro vs Hangman reminds me of when Danielson won the title at Mania then feuded with Kane.
Darby Allin at +200 is very tempting with both guys needing the win. Darby did get a lot of revenge on MJF last week. I’ve been watching this price all week and I feel Darby at +200 is a good value play for 1/4u.
Shida & Rosa should win I expect and are favourites to do so. Unless they really want to elevate Rose & Hayter but I can’t see it.
I wonder if always bet on Cody comes into play here. When I look at that tag match though, I feel Malakai Black & Andrade need the win and hopefully, get it. Pac & Cody can survive a loss. I am going to do 1/4u on Pac to be involved in the finish at +100 odds. That is a prop bet available at non-US Sportsbook (Americans: Bet at BetOnline).
Can’t see anything but FTR losing.
Men of the Year & ATT are slightly tempting at that price but with the way the feud is going, Inner Circle should win especially with them being an established stable. Heel shenanigans etc could come into play so I wouldn’t be completely shocked if Inner Circle lose but I am not going to risk it.
Britt should win. Hangman of course should win.
tl;dr: Superkliq as I spoke about on the podcast, Eddie to win, Darby worth a value bet and Pac to be involved in the finish.
