AEW Continental Classic 2023 Betting Odds & Tips

All Elite Wrestling announced something wrestling fans have been waiting for forever – their version of the NJPW G1.

It’s exciting as the G1 is generally in its own little universe, so upsets happen a lot more than on a standard card.

Currently you can bet on the winner of both leagues and the entire event at BetOnline.

AEW Continental Classic Betting Tips:

Based on odds when tournament began.

Blue League: I could see Danielson winning this league, although I don’t think he will win the entire thing just due to his pending retirement. I don’t think he would win due to not participating next year.

On top of that, Danielson unfortunately is injury prone.

So I would personally go with a 1/4u bet on Eddie Kingston to win the Blue League at +250. I get the feeling it will come down to Eddie and Danielson on the last match.

Gold League: I love this league as you can see three potential people winning it. Jay White, Swerve Strickland and Jon Moxley.

Unfortunately, the odds for all 3 aren’t that great. I’d want something above +200 before I risk it on any of them.

I’m going to roll the dice on 1/4u on Moxley. He is the darling of AEW, and I could see him winning the league. Plus it either sets up him vs Danielson or Eddie Kingston.

I understand the reasoning many think Jay will win it and it won’t surprise me if he does. I feel like Swerve is going to be kept for the world title, although I guess a lot of that depends on whether MJF is going to drop the belt soon.
