AEW TBS Championship Tournament Betting Odds

AEW has been running a TBS title tournament to crown the first champion for their second women’s title. The tournament featured twelve wrestlers with the top four wrestlers getting a bye and now we are down to the final eight wrestlers.

The current odds show that the tournament is pretty wide open with three top favorites. Our friends at Mr. Green have put out betting odds for the upcoming matches and the tournament in general.

The quarterfinal round starts this week and there are four pretty interesting match-ups.

Thunder Rosa (-625) vs. Jamie Hayter (+550): Thunder Rosa is a major favorite here as she seems likely to make the finals, but I’m not so sure. Rosa still has a rematch with Britt Baker in her future and I don’t see that being a champion vs. champion match. A loss by interference could get us one step closer to that while a win would help Jamie Hayter a lot more than hurt Rosa. That said, the brackets may be giving the result of this one away.

Jade Cargill (-500) vs. Red Velvet (+300): The winner of this match will face the winner of Rosa/Hayter. Jade Cargill is a huge favorite here as she is yet to lose in AEW. She does hold a win over Rosa in AEW so a rematch in the next round could be in the cards.

Nyla Rose (-118) vs. Hikaru Shida (-118): This is the most coin-flip match in the entire tournament. Shida has kind of dominated Nyla Rose in their one-on-one matches to the point where it might be time for Rose to get one in her favor.

Ruby Soho (-500) vs. Kris Statlander (+300): It is somewhat surprising to see Statlander as such a big underdog here. She has very few losses in AEW and has been one of the biggest stars of the women’s division. There is no clear storyline match-up for the next round here so you’d think the odds would be a bit closer. Stat might be worth a play just because these odds are so out of wack.

We also have odds for the outright winner of the tournament. The current favorite is Thunder Rosa with Ruby Soho and Jade Cargill not that far behind here.

You can also bet on the individual brackets. Ruby Soho is considered the favorite of the “bottom” bracket, but not by much. It will be here, Statlander, Rose, or Shida. It’s easy to see any of those four coming out of the bracket.

Bracket Winner – Ruby Soho: YES (-134) or NO (-106)

The big favorite in the “top” bracket is Thunder Rosa at -190. That line seems a bit high to me as she will need to go through not only Jamie Hayter, but likely the undefeated Jade Cargill as well.

You can also do this bet below on whether or not the “top” side of the bracket will win the whole thing. With both Thunder Rosa and Jade Cargill on this side, YES is a favorite.
