WWE Royal Rumble Match 2025 Odds

The first-ever Monday Night Raw to be streamed live on Netflix is now in the rearview mirror, and what a show it was. TKO board member The Rock kicked things off, before his former/current – who knows where things stand at the moment – Bloodline stablemates Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa did battle in a Tribal Combat matchup. It was the Head of the Table that reigned supreme in that particular contest, seemingly putting an end to his rivalry with his former enforcer and opening the door to a potential clash with the Great One at WrestleMania.

Elsewhere, CM Punk and Seth Rollins clashed in a contest a decade in the making, with the former emerging victorious after hitting the Go To Sleep not once, but twice. Whether those two will find themselves as adversaries once again remains to be seen.

However, with that particular episode of Raw now in the history books, all roads lead to the Royal Rumble. 2025’s installment of the marquee event will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on February 1st, and at the moment, there is one clear frontrunner.

John Cena

The recently returning John Cena is the odds-on favorite to win the 30-man over-the-top-rope extravaganza. Last year, the 16-time world champion announced that 2025 would be his final year as an in-ring competitor, and he became the first man to declare his entrance in this year’s Rumble match during an impassioned promo on the first Raw of the Netflix era. The online sports betting sites clearly sat up and took notice.

And there are plenty of great choices out there for fans keen on sports betting! For example, sports betting at Bovada offers many options, and although they haven’t yet listed their Royal Rumble odds, many fans are happy to join them in waiting to see what happens in the next couple of episodes of WWE TV. Those sites that have listed frontrunners tend to place Cena at the top of the pile at odds of -150, and for good reason.

With 2025 confirmed as the Leader of the Cenation’s final year in the ring, the company is pulling out all the stops for his farewell. Currently on a retirement tour that promises major pay-per-view appearances, the Boston native is not just chasing one last run but possibly a record-breaking 17th world title. According to credible reports, the company is heavily considering a marquee WrestleMania showdown between Cena and reigning WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, a match layered with historical significance.

Victory would provide the storybook setup for such a monumental clash. It would also give fans an emotional high, as a win ensures the veteran earns a title shot at his final-ever appearance at the Showcase of the Immortals. His near-full-time involvement in the weeks leading up to the event solidifies his status as the frontrunner. The emotional weight of Cena’s last hurrah combined with his star power makes him the safest—and perhaps most satisfying—bet to win.

The Rock

Back at WrestleMania XL, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson proved he still had plenty of gas left in the tank. He was slated to face then-long-time reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and real-life cousin Roman Reigns in the main event with the title and the moniker of Tribal Chief on the line. However, fans had other ideas, instead clamoring for Cody Rhodes to finish his story.

Ultimately, WWE gave way to fan pressure, allowing the American Nightmare to end Roman’s reign of terror. Now, however, The Rock is back, and he is aiming to take back the show-closing match that was taken from him last year.

One tantalizing way to secure that would be with a Royal Rumble match victory. With Johnson being a real member of the TKO board – WWE’s parent company – rumors persist that the Brahama Bull could abuse his board member status by entering the Rumble at number 31 and winning.

One of the most popular WWE social media personalities Santi Zap, however, has other ideas. His WrestleMania wish for The Rock is a clash against Roman Reigns that has been generations in the making, rather than a Rumble victory and potential title shot.

CM Punk

The bookies’ favorite doesn’t always win the big match, as we saw with Cody Rhodes last year, who won at odds of +700. CM Punk was the odds-on favorite 12 months ago and this year, if he is to win and punch his ticket to a first-ever WrestleMania event, he will have to do it as a +600 second favorite.

Having returned to WWE in 2023 after nearly a decade away, Punk’s surprise comeback electrified fans. Yet, the powers that be have kept him distant from the title picture—until now. With the Second City Saint openly vocal about his dream to headline WrestleMania, a Royal Rumble victory could position him as the challenger fans have waited over a decade to see.

With two major storylines seemingly now resolved between Punk and adversaries Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins, the stage could be set for Chicago’s favorite son to return to championship contention. The most likely man for Punk to challenge would be Gunther in a battle to see who truly is the Best in the World. But the would-be-challenger will have to upset the odds if it is victory in Indiana that secures his title shot against the current Heavyweight Champion.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins, tied with Punk at 6/1 odds, has remained a focal point in WWE’s main event scene. The former World Heavyweight Champion has been entrenched in high-stakes feuds for years now, but that recent defeat to Punk on Raw leaves him at a crossroads. While his odds are strong, storylines paint a more complex picture for “The Visionary.”

Rollins’ heated feud with Punk could impact both men’s trajectories heading into Indianapolis. A Rumble win would add another layer to his already historic resume and give him the chance to headline WrestleMania and recapture his championship. However, he currently lacks the momentum required to make him a believable victor, and his +600 pricing seems quite generous.
