AEW Double or Nothing 2022 Betting Tips

Double or Nothing takes place Sunday night from Las Vegas, and it is an absolutely stacked card.

The main event is CM Punk vs Hangman Page, and there are so many other matches to look forward to. We do of course also have MJF vs Wardlow which should be great.

The two biggest betting upsets in AEW history occured at Double or Nothing, which was Hangman in 2019 and Jungle Boy last year. Will we see Tony Nese & Smart Mark Sterling join them? Probably not.

Here are the odds from BetOnline – most of the other sportsbooks have been quite poor with odds for this one.

AEW Double or Nothing 2022 Betting Tips:

I’ll go through all the matches one by one.

Here’s the problem with AEW – and it isn’t a bad thing – but they often do what makes sense. So that makes it easy to lose a bet because you can do everything to justify say MJF winning or Nese & Sterling winning – but it’s just not the thing AEW generally do. Have to be careful and reel yourself in.

Rosa vs Deeb: I love Deeb but you gotta expect Rosa’s reign to last longer. Not sure who she will eventually lose it to but I can’t see Deeb winning here.

Punk vs Hangman: This is a very 50/50 match. I could sit here and give you 100 reasons to bet on Punk. I could sit here and give you 100 reasons to bet on Hangman. End of the day, I’m happy to take the underdog here. 1/2u on “Hangman” Adam Page. Value through and through.

Jurassic Express vs Hobbs & Starks vs Lee & Swerve: I feel like we see the tag team titles change here. They pushed on Dynamite the titles can change without Jurassic being pinned. Not sure if AEW would do that though that’s more a WWE thing.

Problem is I don’t know WHO to bet. If the Kambi sportsbooks open up the props that Jurassic lose the titles, bet that.

Team Mox vs Jericho Appreciation Society: Considering JAS is an established stable, and I feel the win would benefit them more, I’m fine with 1/4u on Jericho Appreciation Society.

Wardlow vs MJF: I can give you reasons as to why MJF could win and justify a bet but man it just seems so wrong within this story arc. I can’t bet it and I hope I am right and Wardlow gets the win. This is one where AEW should be doing what is right and expected.

Hook & Danhausen vs Nese & Sterling: I mean at that price it actually seems tempting but yeah you can’t have HOOK and Danhausen losing. No bet.

Young Bucks vs The Hardys: We know Tony had to step in early on in AEW and put a stop to the Bucks booking themselves to lose. I feel like they can take the loss here – they have no problem with it. Jeff is just in, and you gotta figure they are doing one big final push for the Hardy Boyz. 1/4u on the Hardys.

Jade Cargill vs Anna Jay: Yeah no.

House of Black vs Death Triangle: I liked this one earlier in the week when I posted the odds for House of Black to win as they really need the win more and should be protected. At -200, not worth the bet.
