NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15 Day 1 Betting Tips

NJPWs annual big show, Wrestle Kingdom 15, takes place this Monday and Tuesday.
It’s a stacked show and as it takes place over two nights I will cover betting tips for Night 1 in this post. Following the show if there are odds available I will do Night 2 Betting Tips as well.
That will likely be up in the early afternoon. After much thought I have decided not to stay up live for the show. It would just mess up my sleep schedule but I get up at 5am each day so I will not be too far behind and should have tips up not too long after the show.
Let’s look at the Night 1 Betting Odds:
Wrestle Kingdom 15 Day 1 Betting Odds:
- Kota Ibushi (-278) vs Tetsuya Naito (+190)
- Kazuchika Okada (-118) vs Will Ospreay (-118)
- Hiroshi Tanahashi (-139) vs Great-O-Khan (+100)
- KENTA (-1000) vs Satoshi Kojima (+500)
- Guerrillas of Destiny (-155) vs Dangerous Tekkers (+110)
- Hiromu Takahashi (-400) vs El Phantasmo (+250)
Before we get into the betting tips here are the betting odds for Day 2 currently:
Wrestle Kingdom 15 Day 2 Betting Odds:
- SANADA (-139) vs EVIL (+100)
- Ibushi (-155) vs Jay White (+200) vs Tetsuya Naito (+325)
- Jeff Cobb (-139) vs Shingo Takagi (+100)
Wrestle Kingdom 15 Day 1 Betting Tips:
Kota Ibushi (-278) vs Tetsuya Naito (+190):I expect Ibushi wins here only to drop the ball on Night 2. So my bet would be 1/4u on Jay White at +200 while we can bet it. I just hope both guys live to tell the tale after this one.
Kazuchika Okada (-118) vs Will Ospreay (-118): This is one I think is really tough to tell. Really underwhelming match too isn’t it? I’m not going to bet on this one but I would lean Okada.
Hiroshi Tanahashi (-139) vs Great-O-Khan (+100): I love Great-O-Khan. I love Tanahashi too. This is a tough call. However O-Khan is very popular in Japan. People cosplaying as him and look at the end of the day – the guy doesn’t get a match against Okada unless they believe in him. 1/2u on Great-O-Khan for the high profile win.
KENTA (-1000) vs Satoshi Kojima (+500): Yeah this one is rather underwhelming isn’t it? That briefcase is weighing KENTA down. Can’t see anything but a KENTA win.
Guerrillas of Destiny (-155) vs Dangerous Tekkers (+110): This one will be an interesting dynamic. Guerrilas of Destiny have been very dominant lately and I think it just makes sense that they take the titles here. 1/4u on G.O.D. to win.
Hiromu Takahashi (-400) vs El Phantasmo (+250): Odds seem right. If this was a standalone match I think we could possibly justify a win for El Phantasmo. But considering the wrestler who wins this one takes on Ishimori? I gotta think Takahashi takes it.
