The last stop on the road to Wrestlemania is Elimination Chamber as WWE looks to get their card in final order before their biggest event of the year. A lot of these matches have odds that make all of the winners seem like a foregone conclusion, but I’nm not so sure. There is a value in this card if you dig deep enough.
The show is headlined by the Elimination Chamber match where Randy Orton will defend his title against Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Cesaro, Sheamus and Christian. That match seems like a foregone conclusion as Randy Orton is a heavy favorite and expected to carry his title into Wrestlemania. The other big match of the night is the match-up between The Shield and the Wyatt Family. Rumors of the Shield’s break-up have caused the Wyatt family to be a huge favorite in this one.
Other matches include the surprising tag team champion New Age Outlaws defending against the Usos, Big E vs. Jack Swagger, the break-up of the Primetime Players and a Rhodes brothers vs. Axel/Ryback match on the pre-show. To be completely honest, his show is mostly a set-up for WWE’s biggest event of them all.

Rhodes Brothers (-400) vs Axel/Ryback (+280): This match has pre-show written all over it and pre-show usually means that the good guys win to get the crowd excited. Skip this one.
Big E (-530) vs. Jack Swagger (+350): The freakishly strong Big E has been a decent Intercontinental champion thus far and the bookmakers don’t see much of a chance of him dropping it here. Jack Swagger is one half of the Real Americans who have been having their problems lately. Could Swagger win the title to set up an Intercontinental title match with Cesaro down the road? Possibly, but I just don’t see it.
Usos (-140) vs New Age Outlaws (+100): The tag team champion New Age Outlaws are favored here as them passing the torch to the next generation Usos is basically written in stone. However, I think that this random February pay-per-view that will be seen by 1/3 of the people that Wrestlemania will be isn’t the time. Bet on the Outlaws because the Usos time is Wrestlemania.
Titus O’Neil (-400) vs Darren Young (+280): The odds of this one are a bit strange. Is Titus O’Neil really that big of a favorite? Sure, he’s the bigger and stronger of the two, but Darren Young is probably the better wrestler. I don’t see this one being quite so much of a lock so I’m going to take the odds and bet Darren Young.
Wyatt Family (-750) vs. The Shield (+450): A dream match that probably should’ve happened at Wrestlemania. The Shield have been dominating the WWE for over a year and only recently have they begun showing cracks. While the Wyatt Family’s place as the new badass trio has been solidified since their debut. This could be the only time we ever see this match and if that’s the case, I have to go with the Shield. They basically created the awesome six-man match and this should be their time to shine. Believe in the Shield. Bet on the Shield.
Batista (-1500) vs. Alberto Del Rio (+700): This line could be +1,000,000 and I still wouldn’t take Alberto Del Rio. WWE wants Batista to look good going into Wrestlemania and Alberto will do that for him.
Randy Orton (-750) vs, Daniel Bryan (+600) vs John Cena (+2500) vs Cesaro (+3300) vs Sheamus (+4000) vs Christian (+6600): As much as fans and gamblers alike would like Daniel Bryan to win this thing, I just can’t see it happening. He’s been through some much over these past few months that it’s hard to see it ending at Elimination Chamber. Orton retains.
The road to Wrestlemania didn’t give us a lot to work with, but we think there is a little bit of value in this show. Take these underdogs and hope for the best.
