Outside of Wrestlemania, there is no bigger WWE show than SummerSlam live from Los Angeles, California. This is a pretty major event with John Cena defending his title against Daniel Bryan. Cena is rumored to be undergoing surgery after this event which has him as an underdog against Daniel Bryan. If you can believe that.
The most anticipated match on the card could be Paul Heyman’s monster Brock Lesnar taking on the Best In The World CM Punk. This is definitely a dream match in a lot of people’s eyes and it should be very, very good. The odds are pretty tight on this one.
The undercard also features a showdown between former partners Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, Bray Wyatt vs. Kane in a “Ring of Fire” match and Alberto Del Rio vs. Christian for the World Heavyweight title. There is also a mixed tag match with Big E & AJ vs. Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler. Overall, it looks to be a pretty stacked card for one of WWE’s biggest events.

There is definitely some good opportunities for betting success here. Let’s take a closer look at the odds and we’ll add our analysis.
Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn (-455) Vs. Big E Langston & AJ Lee (+315): A bit of a surprise here as one would think that WWE has big plans in the future for Big E and AJ, but apparently not. Of all the wrestlers in the match, Dolph Ziggler is probably the biggest star so he’ll probably win. That’s how SummerSlams work.
Bray Wyatt (-1700) Vs. Kane (+800): Sometimes the odds are so ridiculous that it is not worth our time to add any analysis. This is one of those times. Bray Wyatt has to win so he will.
Damien Sandow (-300) Vs. Cody Rhodes (+220): This feud started when Damien Sandow turned on Cody to win the Money in the Bank briefcase. If the briefcase was somehow on the line I would think that Sandow would be the favorite here, but since it’s not I’m going with Cody. He needs to win here to keep his strong momentum going and Sandow can handle the loss. Bet Cody Rhodes.
Alberto Del Rio (-350) Vs.Christian (+250): It would be pretty cool for Christian to get one more run with the title here, but I just can’t see it. Even though Alberto Del Rio loses every non-title match, he still seems to win the ones with the title on the line. That’s WWE in 2013 for ya.
Brock Lesnar (-160) Vs. CM Punk (+120): These odds are crazy which just goes to show you how popular CM Punk is. Brock Lesnar is WWE’s ultimate monster and he’s despetately hungry. Having him come back at this point just to lose to CM Punk in their first match would be a mistake. There will be Heyman related shenannigans and Brock will win. I’d bet my house on it. Bet big on Brock.
Daniel Bryan (-455) vs John Cena (+315): This is really a tough one. It seems like this is a match that is designed for Daniel Bryan to get the win, but it’s John Cena. He’s the man and he always wins. Yet this summer has been all about Daniel Bryan and John Cena is injured. I want to bet it, even though the odds are terrible, but… it’s John Cena. I just can’t.
